ATPS (Automated Traveler Processing System)

An automated gate solution (eGate) for travelers holding either an ePassport, MRZ passport or any other travel or ID document.  Solution covers not only the hardware but the software based on biometrics as well.

ATPS is based on a traveler’s ID verification using fingerprint recognition or other biometrics. The ATPS solution consists of two different applications. It is complemented by a terminal, a travel document reader, a finger scanner and an electronic gate to fully automate its operation. 

Card Production

The frequent traveler applies for a frequent traveler card. Personal data and fingerprint are captured live with automatic quality control of the fingerprints. After capturing the data, the card is centrally approved by the respective authority. There the personal data is checked against the Secure Border Management System Control List, in order to verify that no problem will restrict issuing the card. If the traveler has no existing records in the Control List the card is ready to be printed using the data stored in the database and it is activated for immediate use. This new record stored in the central database is replicated automatically through the network to the Ports of Entry local database.
