For reliable document authentiction the dpi of the images should be as close as possible to the ppi of the scanner The database features resolutions from 250 to over 1000 dpi images which can be reliably used for automatic pattern matching under all given lightsources (Visual, UV, IR, Coaxial).

The images are optimized for the use within the specific verification clients. They are cropped, aligned and equalized in resolution to deliver robust and high quality verification results.
