Since the existence of Avalon Biometrics we develop software solutions that check identities, verify documents, identify persons and criminals and provide comprehensive biometrics and personal data for vetting applicants. Since all our software is based on the same software architecture Annwyn, we created a new solution called VeriSys – Identity Verification System, in which we combine, configurable, various modules from other solutions to form a flexible yet comprehensive VeriSys solution.
VeriSys is currently available as a client server solution whereby a smart client communicates over a LAN, WAN, VPN with a central server. This means that the VeriSys client needs to be installed at a customer workstation, which imposes an entire range of tasks and services from installation to support and maintenance.
The challenge for VeriSys is to have the client software browser based and installable thru the customer himself. This will enable service providers of identity vetting services to reach their hundreds and thousands of clients thru VeriSysWeb easily and convenient. We are in the process of implementing VeriSys modules based on Microsoft Silverlight technology, so realize VeriSysWeb functionality.
VeriSys is excellent positioned to help banks and financial institutes, insurances, credit card providers and employment agencies to enroll and vet their applicants.

Applicants Repository
A complete applicant database stores permanent all enrolled demographic and biometric data objects for future references and re-submitting of data to external agencies. Integrity of the database can be ensured through the use of an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). Biometric data can be face, fingerprint, signature, iris and even voice.
AFIS
An AFIS can be used to ensure that no applicant can enroll twice under a different identity. This guarantees the uniqueness of a customer’s database, for instance when a customer wants to open a bank account at the same bank using a different name.
Face Capture & QA
Live capture with QA (dynamic & static), face & eye finder, automated cropping & rotation and overall QA according to ISO & ICAO standards.
Fingerprint Capture & QA
Live capture with QA, reliable and unreliable minutiae, core and delta, ridge flow count, segmentation, sequence and authenticity check, NFIQ value, anomalies support and single/dual/4-4-2 scanners.
Signature Capture
Static & dynamic biometric signature templates can be recorded to support identification purposes in financial transactions.
Voice Capture & Verification
Captures voice and creates a biometric template of the applicant so that the applicant can be verified when he enters into phone transaction with a customer that has VeriSys.
Form Capture
Scans with flatbed scanners all supporting documents that are part of an application and links them to the transaction and the data record in the register. Demographics Capture
Entirely customized to customers requirements. Drop down list boxes for fast data selection from catalogs and mandatory fields validation for QA.
Document Verification
Automated document verification scans a presented travel or identity document and compares security features of such documents against centrally stored templates of 1000+ documents, utilizing the VeriDoc engine.
Background Checks
Control List managment System to connect unlimited amount of control lists for automated background checks.
HelpDesk Infrastructure
Inherited forwarding of transactions allows for provision of a table of experts that can review the verifications performed and give an expert decision for the person in question.
