Established in 1989, Multipolaris Trading and Manufacturing Ltd. Co. deals with the planning, development, supply and operation of complex IT and communication systems including the integration of special surveillance systems and the production of computer equipment.

In our activity we focus on the production technology of plastic or paper-based security documents serving for the identification and control of persons.

System integration of special IT elements applied in connection with the issuing of documents constitutes inherent part of our work. For the personalization of documents we use laser-engraving technology ensuring high quality and security.

In our work we place special emphasis on compliance to ICAO 9303, EU Directives and ISO 7810, 7816, 7501. Software development is a priority field of our activity with two main directions:

1. development of unique applications tailored to the requirements of our customers and

2. development of our own products.

Software development takes place, inter alia, on Microsoft platform utilizing Microsoft technologies and in the mainframe environment.

Multipolaris has had a leading role in the development and implementation of the new Hungarian e-Passport system. The new Hungarian biometric e-Passport system consists of a comprehensively secured production, personalisation and issuance process. Through the effective usage of sophisticated computer hardware and software, the new Hungarian e-Passport system provides for a high degree of security and reliability.
