Avalon Biometrics is proud to announce that in September 2009 we passed the official ISO 9001:2000 audit (ENAC accreditation nr C-SC/027) for our Quality & Project Management System for “Development, Implementation and Support of Integral Software Solutions in the global Security Arena” to assure partners and customers to continue delivering first class solutions and continuously strive to improve services and performance.

The ISO 9001:2000 certificate is the most comprehensive quality management standard covering all main processes within a company, ranging from research and development to delivery and shipping, ensuring that these processes are not only conducted under controlled conditions, but are also subject to continuous improvement. The certificate is only awarded to companies that can demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable requirements, placing customer satisfaction as a key component of those requirements.

In addition we have also achieved the ISO 14001:2004 certification (ENAC accreditation nr. CMA/016) for our Environmental Management System. This certificate solidifies the company’s environmental awareness and business philosophy to manage our activities in a green, cost-effective and reliable way.

Avalon Biometrics’ business strategies encompass social as well as environmental considerations.
